The Kolar 2 Seater is a beautifully proportioned sofa that proves you don't need a large footprint to make an impact. Its dramatically flared arms and clean, upright back give it a silhouette that feels both contemporary and timeless — a sofa that works in a bay window, a snug, or as part of a larger suite alongside the matching 3-seater and armchair. Upholstered in a rich velvet-effect fabric with two co-ordinating patterned scatter cushions included, it's as well dressed as it is well built.

Extraflex+ Seating with Serpentine Springs The Kolar's seat combines an Extraflex+ high-comfort interior with serpentine seat springs and silent wire for a sit that's plush, supportive, and built to last. This sprung construction gives the seat a responsive, even feel underfoot — far more durable than foam-only alternatives — and helps the sofa hold its shape through years of everyday use.

Fibre-Filled Back and Scatter Cushions Both the back cushion and the included scatter cushions are fibre filled, giving the sofa a soft, relaxed feel without the formality of a firmer, structured back. Elasticated back webbing adds internal support and helps maintain the cushion's position over time.

Solid Hardwood Frame The frame is built from hardwood and composite board using dowelled, screwed, glued, and stapled joinery — a multi-point construction method that gives long-term structural integrity and prevents the flex and movement that can develop in lesser-built sofas.
