The Kolar Armchair is a bold, characterful piece that brings real design presence to a living room without sacrificing an inch of comfort. Its dramatically curved, flared arms give it a distinct sculptural quality — contemporary enough for a modern interior, yet substantial enough to anchor a more traditional space. Upholstered in a sumptuous velvet-effect fabric and dressed with a co-ordinating patterned scatter cushion, it looks equally at home as a standalone statement piece or paired with the matching Kolar 2 or 3-seater sofa.

Extraflex+ Seating with Serpentine Springs The Kolar uses an Extraflex+ high-comfort seat interior combined with serpentine seat springs and silent wire — a construction method that delivers a smooth, even sit with excellent long-term resilience. Unlike simple foam-only seats, the sprung base distributes weight evenly across the seat, preventing premature wear and maintaining that just-sat-in feel for years.

Fibre-Filled Back and Scatter Cushions The back cushion is fibre filled for a soft, forgiving feel that you can sink into rather than prop yourself against. The scatter cushion is also fibre filled and included as standard, as shown.

Solid Hardwood Frame Built on a hardwood and composite board frame with dowelled, screwed, glued, and stapled joinery — the same robust multi-point construction found across quality British upholstery manufacturing. Elasticated back webbing adds further structure and helps the back cushion maintain its shape over time.
